Gran Turismo 7 is a driving simulator developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It launched on March 4, 2022, for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, marking the 25th anniversary of the series. Where Gran Turismo Sport focused on online competition, this entry brings back the classic single-player structure of buying cars, earning licenses, tuning and racing your way up through events.
The heart of the game is a world map hub. At the Café, menu books send you after specific cars and teach you their history. Brand Central sells new models, the Used Car dealership and Legend Cars rotate older classics, and GT Auto handles maintenance and a livery editor. The Tuning Shop lets you change parts and settings, and you can test them in license tests, missions and circuit experiences. Sport mode offers ranked online races, while Scapes provides a photo mode built on real-world locations. On PS5, the game uses the DualSense controller's haptics and adaptive triggers, and a free update added PlayStation VR2 support. Gran Turismo Sophy, an AI racing agent developed with Sony AI, appears as an opponent in selected races.
Gran Turismo 7 suits both newcomers and sim racing fans, and it is a natural alternative for PlayStation owners eyeing Forza Motorsport on Xbox and PC. A Gran Turismo 7 CD key is a PlayStation Store code. Full details are on the official Gran Turismo 7 website.
