Goat Simulator 3 is an open-world sandbox comedy game developed by Coffee Stain North and published by Coffee Stain Publishing. It was released on November 17, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, arrived on Steam on February 15, 2024, and later came to Nintendo Switch 2. Despite the name, it is the direct follow-up to the original Goat Simulator.
You play as Pilgor the goat on the island of San Angora. The goal is simple: explore, headbutt, lick, and launch anything you can find. Ragdoll physics turn most actions into slapstick, and the island is packed with hidden secrets, odd characters, and silly quests.
A gear system lets you unlock and equip items that change how your goat looks and plays, from cosmetic hats to abilities that open new ways to cause trouble. Instincts and quests give light goals if you want direction, but free play is the core of the game.
Up to four players can explore together in online or local split-screen co-op, and the same group can compete in multiplayer minigames. Paid expansions such as Multiverse of Nonsense add more areas and content.
Goat Simulator 3 suits players who enjoy sandbox games, physical comedy, and casual sessions with friends.
PC: Most PC keys activate on Steam, though some offers may be for the Epic Games Store, where the game first launched. It needs about 12 GB of storage.
Consoles: Console codes are redeemed on PlayStation Network, a Microsoft account, or the Nintendo eShop. There is no PS4 or Xbox One version.
DLC: Expansions are sold separately and need the base game to play.
Before you buy, check the activation platform and region on each offer, then read our guide on how to activate your CD key. For trailers and DLC details, visit the official Goat Simulator 3 website.
