Ghost Song is a 2D action-adventure Metroidvania developed by Old Moon and published by Humble Games, now Balor Games. It launched on November 3, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

You play as the Deadsuit, an armed suit that wakes up on the desolate moon of Lorian with no memory of its purpose. Beneath the surface lie twisting caves, abandoned labs, and alien life, and the deeper you go, the more you learn about what happened there.

Exploration follows the Metroidvania pattern. New weapons and abilities open paths to fresh areas and hidden rooms, and an illustrated world rewards careful mapping. Combat mixes a rapid-fire blaster with melee strikes: shooting builds up barrel heat that powers up your melee attacks. Optional hidden areas reward players who search every corner of the map and return later with new abilities.

You can level up the Deadsuit and customize it with modules that change how it fights. Along the way, you meet a cast of voiced characters, each with a story of survival or loss. Ghost Song is a single-player game.

It suits fans of Metroid and Hollow Knight, players who like moody sci-fi settings, and anyone who enjoys slowly uncovering a world's history through exploration.
