Ghost of Yotei is an open-world, third-person action-adventure game where you control Atsu, a mercenary whose family was murdered by a ruthless gang known as the Yotei Six. After 16 years, she returns to Ezo to track them down one by one, balancing stealth, swordplay, and moral choices as she carves a path of vengeance through bandits, ronin, and war-torn villages.
The game contains stealth assassinations, archery, and new weapons such as dual katanas, spears, rifles, and a kusarigama, allowing you to choose between confrontation and silent takedowns. Ghost of Yotei is ideal for players who enjoyed Ghost of Tsushima, love Japanese samurai films, or want a narrative-heavy single‑player open world with skill-based combat rather than button mashing. It is currently a PlayStation 5 exclusive, with critics praising its visuals and combat while noting the story is familiar but well executed.
