Gears 5 is an action-packed third-person shooter developed by The Coalition and published by Xbox Game Studios. The game shifts the focus to Kait Diaz as the world crumbles under the threat of the Swarm. Players navigate a sprawling world, including frozen wastes and sun-scorched deserts, using a mix of classic cover-based shooting and new RPG-lite elements.
Beyond the epic single-player or co-op campaign, Gears 5 offers an expansive multiplayer ecosystem, including the tactical "Escape" mode, the classic wave-based "Horde" mode, and intense competitive "Versus" arenas. Optimized for modern hardware, it delivers a premier cinematic experience that is both brutal and beautiful.
