Final Fantasy XV is an open-world action RPG developed and published by Square Enix. It launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016, and the Windows Edition followed on March 6, 2018. You play as Noctis, crown prince of Lucis, who travels with Gladiolus, Prompto and Ignis in the royal car, the Regalia, across a large open world to take back his kingdom from an invading empire.
Combat runs in real time. Noctis warps through the air, switches between weapons and magic, and links up with his companions for team attacks. Between fights you drive, camp, cook, fish and take on hunts against oversized monsters. The Final Fantasy XV CD key sold for PC unlocks the Windows Edition, which includes the Season Pass content (Episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto, Episode Ignis and the Comrades multiplayer expansion), a first-person mode, the expanded Insomnia map and support for high-resolution displays with HDR10.
It fits players who want a character-driven road-trip story with fast action combat. If you prefer the newer entries, compare deals on Final Fantasy XVI too. Visit the official Final Fantasy XV site for more.
