Fable III is an action RPG developed by Lionhead Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios.

Set approximately fifty years after the events of Fable II, the game takes place in the industrializing kingdom of Albion. Players assume the role of the son or daughter of the previous ruler and must overthrow their tyrannical brother, King Logan, who has oppressed the kingdom. However, becoming ruler is only the beginning of the adventure, as players must then govern Albion and make difficult decisions that affect its future.

Fable III emphasizes player choice and consequence. Throughout the story, players make moral, political, and economic decisions that influence the appearance of Albion, the lives of its citizens, and the ultimate fate of the kingdom. The game combines action combat, exploration, quests, property management, and relationship-building systems to create a unique fantasy RPG experience.

The game is known for its charming British humor, memorable characters, cooperative gameplay, and the ability to shape both personal relationships and national policies through meaningful choices.
