F1 25 is the latest entry in EA Sports' official Formula 1 racing game series. It is built for next-generation consoles and PC, dropping support for older PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to deliver better performance and visuals.
The game lets you race in the official 2025 F1 season with all 10 teams and 20 drivers, or dive into expanded career modes. You can manage your own F1 team in My Team 2.0, drive through the emotional story mode Braking Point 3, or compete online against players worldwide.
A major new addition is the integration of "F1 The Movie," where Iconic Edition owners can play as APXGP drivers Sonny Hayes and Joshua Pearce and experience scenes from the film featuring Brad Pitt's character. Five new circuits, such as Bahrain, Imola, Melbourne, Miami, and Suzuka, were scanned with LiDAR technology for sub-centimeter track accuracy, joining Silverstone for the most realistic track recreation ever.
F1 25 also introduces Challenge Career (timed offline scenarios with global leaderboards), Invitationals (co-op multiplayer raids against AI), reverse track racing, enhanced weather and lighting, path tracing for PC, and improved audio with NVIDIA Audio2Face technology.
My Team 2.0: Manage both drivers on your custom team, customize Owner Perks based on your play style, upgrade your Team HQ, negotiate driver contracts, and build your Fan Rating through performance.
Braking Point 3: Experience the emotional story of the Konnersport team as they fight through dramatic highs and lows to achieve World Championship contention in this third chapter of the story mode.
Driver Career: Race against AI-recruited F1 legends like Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher in modern cars, and choose to add an 11th team by selecting either Konnersport or APXGP.
LiDAR Tracks: Six laser-scanned circuits, including Bahrain, Imola, Melbourne, Miami, Suzuka, and Silverstone, feature sub-centimeter accuracy for the most realistic track recreation ever.
Path Tracing: PC-only next-gen lighting technology delivers the most realistic visual creation and light simulation in any F1 game.
Challenge Career: Complete timed offline scenarios with specific objectives and compete on global leaderboards with friends and players worldwide.
Invitationals: Co-op multiplayer mode where you team up with friends to race together against an AI grid in collaborative raids.
Reverse Tracks: Race official circuits backwards for the first time in F1 games, creating a completely new challenge that tests your skills differently.
F1 Movie Integration: Play as APXGP drivers Sonny Hayes and Joshua Pearce (Iconic Edition only) and experience scenes from "F1 The Movie" featuring Brad Pitt's character.
Advanced Audio: NVIDIA Audio2Face technology creates realistic facial animations, real broadcasters like Ted Kravitz provide commentary, and upgraded radio audio enhances immersion.
Livery Customization: Deep car design control with extensive options and sponsor unlocks in My Team mode for personalized vehicle aesthetics.
Online Multiplayer: Race against players worldwide in competitive online matches and enjoy split-screen gameplay for 2 players locally.
