Based on the iconic novel by Bernard Werber, Empire of the Ants (2024) is a complete remake that blends traditional RTS mechanics with third-person adventure. You control Ant #103,683, a warrior caste ant tasked with expanding the colony’s territory. The game features a unique "vertical" strategy layer where you navigate terrain, climb trees, and interact with other forest dwellers. With a narrative influenced by the changing seasons and a day/night cycle that affects unit attributes, every tactical decision—from building specialized chambers to forging alliances with local wildlife—shapes the fate of your empire.
Photorealistic Environments: Explore a breathtaking forest world rendered in incredible detail thanks to Unreal Engine 5.
Tactical RTS Combat: Command diverse legions including warriors, support units like Snails, and super-predators such as Rhino Beetles.
Unique Third-Person View: Unlike traditional "God-view" RTS games, you experience the battlefield directly as a mobile commander.
Dynamic Seasonal Narrative: Adapt your strategies as the forest changes; seasons and time of day influence speed, resistance, and special buffs.
Multiplayer Modes: Test your skills in 1v1 ranked matchmaking or engage in three-player free-for-all skirmishes with cross-platform support.
