Edens Zero is a 3D action role-playing game developed and published by Konami. It is based on the space fantasy manga and anime by Hiro Mashima, creator of Fairy Tail and Rave Master, and launched in July 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

You control a varied cast of characters, led by Shiki Granbell, a young man who can control gravity, as they travel across different planets aboard the battleship Edens Zero. Exploration of wide open fields alternates with real-time battles against powerful enemies.

Combat focuses on fast, real-time action, with each character bringing their own abilities and fighting style. Progression systems let you strengthen your crew as the adventure moves forward.

The game tells a story written for the game, separate from the anime, so long-time fans get new material while newcomers can follow along. It is a single-player experience.

The adventure covers several distinct planets, each with its own environments, enemies, and boss fights, and the cast includes familiar faces from the series such as Rebecca, Happy, Weisz, and Homura. Battles reward learning each character's strengths and timing your attacks against powerful enemies. A free trial version is available on all platforms, letting you test the combat before buying.

Edens Zero suits fans of the series, anime-style action RPGs, and players who want a colorful sci-fi adventure with straightforward combat.
