Eastshade is a first-person open-world exploration game developed and published by Eastshade Studios. It released on PC on February 13, 2019, followed by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions later that year.

You arrive on the island of Eastshade as a traveling painter. Using your easel, you capture landscapes and moments on canvas, and those paintings become a way to complete quests, earn favors and open new paths.

There is no combat. Instead, you talk to the island's inhabitants, learn about their lives, make friends and help people in need. Quests are often solved through conversation, crafting and exploration rather than fighting.

The island includes towns, forests, mountain peaks and forgotten places to uncover at your own pace. It is a single-player experience with full controller support.

Painting is the heart of the game. You need canvas to create paintings, so gathering materials and crafting supplies becomes part of the routine, and many characters ask for specific scenes in exchange for help or rewards. As you explore, you can also craft tools that let you reach new areas of the island. The game is fully voiced in English, and many players finish the main story in roughly 10 to 15 hours. Its relaxed pace, gentle music and lack of fail states make it easy to play in short sessions.

It suits players looking for a calm, story-rich game, and fans of relaxing exploration titles who prefer creativity over action.
