Developed by Sandlot and published by D3 Publisher, Earth Defense Force 5 is a high-octane, campy arcade action spectacle that values scale, destruction, and pure chaotic fun above all else. Set in the year 2022, a sudden full-scale invasion by an alien civilization known as the "Primers" catches humanity off guard. As an ordinary civilian worker trapped in an underground base during the initial breach, you must pick up military-grade weaponry, join the EDF ranks, and push back the extraterrestrial menace.
The game trades tight, serious narrative corridors for pure sandbox mayhem. Towns and city blocks shatter realistically under artillery fire as you face down thousands of giant ants, spiders, flying drones, and 50-meter-tall humanoid frogs. With four wildly distinct playable classes and a staggering arsenal of over a thousand unlockable weapons, the tactical configurations are nearly endless. Purchasing an Earth Defense Force 5 CD key through Cdkeycompares bypasses premium digital storefront markups, letting you defend the planet alongside your squadmates without breaking the bank.
Four Unique Soldier Classes: Customize your approach to the invasion. Choose the versatile Ranger, rain down heavy explosives as the tank-like Fencer, fly across the skies as the agile Wing Diver, or deploy heavily armored vehicles and air strikes as the strategic Air Raider.
Over 1,000 Unlockable Weapons: Scavenge weapon crates dropped by defeated enemies to build a massive armory. Unlock everything from standard assault rifles and laser lances to tactical plasma mortars, automated turrets, and giant piloted mech suits.
Unprecedented Battle Scale: Experience intense combat missions where the screen is flooded with hundreds of concurrent enemies. Watch as your explosive payloads completely level skyscrapers, bridges, and entire downtown city grids.
Full 4-Player Online Co-op: Don't face the swarm alone. Team up with up to three other players online in full cooperative lobbies, combining class-specific synergies—like an Air Raider healing a heavily armored Fencer squad—to conquer high-difficulty levels.
Advanced Gore and Damage Models: Repel alien bugs with enhanced physical feedback. Witness alien armor fracturing, fluids splattering across buildings, and giant limbs breaking away dynamically as you impact targets with high-caliber munitions.
