Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 - The Dead King's Secret is a puzzle dungeon crawler created by solo developer Christoph Minnameier. It released on Steam for Windows PC on December 5, 2024, and is also available on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.

Each floor is a compact, single-screen puzzle. You move tile by tile, study enemy behavior, flip switches, avoid traps and use items to reach the exit. Many rooms mix logic with light combat that rewards careful timing. Most levels can be solved in a few minutes once you spot the trick, and a mistake simply restarts the room, so experimenting feels low risk. Difficulty rises gradually across the 100 levels, so the early floors also work as a gentle tutorial for newcomers to the genre.

The game includes 100 levels and five boss fights, with new mechanics introduced at a steady pace so puzzles keep changing. Two different endings give a reason to pay attention to secrets along the way.

It is a single-player game. This episode is Part 2 of the planned Dreadrock Trilogy and takes you through the ancient cavern sections of Dreadrock Mountain, told through charming pixel art and short story beats.

It suits puzzle fans who enjoy classic top-down Zelda-style dungeons, short play sessions, and players who finished the first Dungeons of Dreadrock and want more of the same clever design.
