Dungeons 4 is a strategy and dungeon management game developed by Realmforge Studios and published by Kalypso Media. It released on November 9, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

You play as the Absolute Evil alongside the Dark Elf Thalya. The core loop splits between two layers: underground, you dig out a dungeon, build rooms, and keep your minions working; above ground, you lead your army in real-time battles to spread evil across the overworld.

Imp-like Snots handle building and resource work, while combat units defend the dungeon against invading heroes. Balancing gold, layout, and unit needs is key to holding off attacks while pushing your campaign forward.

A narrated story campaign continues from Dungeons 3 with a humorous tone. The PC version supports online co-op and multiplayer modes, and includes a level editor for custom maps.

The dungeon itself needs careful planning. Rooms and facilities keep units happy and productive, while traps slow down heroes before they reach the heart of your dungeon. Resources gathered from the overworld fund new upgrades, so expanding above ground and building below ground support each other throughout the campaign.

It suits fans of Dungeon Keeper style games, players who like base building mixed with real-time tactics, and anyone who enjoyed earlier Dungeons titles.
