DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Dark Prince is a monster-collecting role-playing game developed by Square Enix and Tose and published by Square Enix.
The game follows Psaro, the son of the monster king Randolfo. Because of a curse that prevents him from harming monsters, Psaro must rely on his ability to recruit and command them. His journey takes him across the magical world of Nadiria, where he searches for powerful creatures and uncovers the secrets behind his past.
The core gameplay revolves around scouting and synthesizing monsters. Players can discover a huge variety of creatures, train them to improve their abilities, and combine them through synthesis to create entirely new and more powerful monsters.
Battles are turn-based and allow you to build a team suited to your preferred strategy. Monsters can learn different skills, inherit abilities through synthesis, and develop specialized roles for challenging encounters.
