Developed by Arkane Studios, Dishonored is a masterclass in player agency and level design. Set in the industrial whaling city of Dunwall—where steampunk technology and occult forces collide—you play as Corvo Attano, the former royal bodyguard turned infamous assassin. The game’s hallmark is its flexible combat system, allowing you to combine supernatural powers, unusual gadgets, and lethal weaponry to eliminate targets. Whether you want to ghost through the entire game without killing a single person or engage in high-chaos open combat, the world reacts dynamically to your choices, altering the narrative and the city's atmosphere.
Supernatural Assassination: Utilize unique powers like Blink (teleportation), Possession (taking control of animals or humans), and Bend Time to orchestrate perfect executions.
Action with Meaning: The "Chaos System" tracks your lethality; high chaos leads to more plague-infected "Weepers," more rats, and a darker ending, while low chaos offers a more hopeful outcome.
Improvisation & Innovation: Every mission is a sandbox with multiple entry points and assassination methods. Use shadow, sound, and the environment to your advantage.
Stunning Art Direction: Experience a world envisioned by Viktor Antonov (Art Director of Half-Life 2), featuring a unique "painted" aesthetic and a rich, Victorian-inspired setting.
Customizable Playstyle: Master deadly gadgets like spring razors, sleep darts, and rewire tools to turn the city’s automated defenses against your enemies.
