Dexter Stardust: Adventures in Outer Space is a classic point-and-click adventure developed and published by Dexter Team Games. It released on March 2, 2022 for PC, with macOS and Linux support on Steam, and it is also available on Nintendo Switch. The game takes its look and tone from the science fiction television shows of the 1960s.

The story picks up twenty years after the Vreesians of Planet X sent a robot fleet to wipe out life on Earth. A mechanical man arrives with a message: the taco-loving Dexter Stardust is the key to saving both humans and Vreesians. Dexter and his friend Aurora set off to uncover the mystery of the robot from Planet X.

Gameplay follows the traditional adventure formula. You walk, talk, and interact with the world, collect inventory items, and combine them to solve logical puzzles across more than 100 unique scenes. Puzzles are designed to be logical rather than obscure, which makes them approachable for newcomers to the genre.

The game is split into five episodes, much like a block of Saturday morning cartoons, and you can jump to or replay any episode at any time. Every character, cutscene, and line of dialogue is fully voice acted in English, and French text is also supported. Steam Cloud saves keep progress synced on PC.

With non-violent gameplay, easy controls, and a retro sci-fi tone, Dexter Stardust suits families, younger players, and fans of classic point-and-click games.
