Taking place eleven months after the original game, On The Beach follows Sam as he works with Drawbridge, a civilian organization led by Fragile. Tasked with expanding the Chiral Network to new continents, Sam must navigate a world plagued by "Timefall" rain, sandstorms, and earthquakes. The narrative asks a haunting central question: "Should we have connected?" With an all-star cast including Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Troy Baker, and Elle Fanning, the game blends cinematic storytelling with advanced traversal mechanics. The PC version, developed in collaboration with Nixxes Software, features unlocked framerates, ultra-widescreen support, and the latest upscaling technologies (DLSS, FSR).
A Global Journey: Travel beyond the UCA to a compressed version of Australia, featuring diverse biomes from arid deserts to flooding rivers.
Evolved Traversal: Navigate treacherous terrain using the DHV Magellan (a mobile base), new vehicles, and APAS enhancements that grant Sam new survival skills.
Improved Combat & Stealth: Engage in refined non-lethal combat with a wider variety of weapons like machine guns and shotguns, or use decoy holograms and silent takedowns to avoid "Voidouts."
Dynamic Environments: Unscripted ecological events like "Gate Quakes" and forest fires caused by flaming BTs make the world feel more alive and unpredictable.
Social Strand System (SSS): The iconic asynchronous multiplayer returns—build bridges, donate resources to community projects, and leave "Likes" to strengthen bonds with other porters.
