Dead Space (2023) is Motive Studio's full remake of the 2008 sci-fi survival horror classic, published by Electronic Arts on January 27, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. You play as engineer Isaac Clarke, stranded aboard the mining ship USG Ishimura after its crew is slaughtered by creatures called Necromorphs.
The remake was rebuilt from the ground up with new visuals and 3D audio, a seamless ship with no loading screens, and a voiced Isaac, while keeping the original's strategic dismemberment combat.
