Dark Souls III: The Ringed City is the second and final DLC for Dark Souls III, developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment on March 27, 2017. It follows the Ashes of Ariandel expansion and closes out the Dark Souls series under director Hidetaka Miyazaki. The Ashen One travels to the end of the world, through the collapsing ruins of the Dreg Heap, to find the Ringed City, a place sealed away by the gods and home to the pygmy lords.
The expansion keeps the base game's deliberate melee combat, stamina management and punishing difficulty, then raises the stakes with some of the series' hardest bosses, including Darkeater Midir and Slave Knight Gael. It adds new areas, enemy types, weapons, armor sets, spells and items that you can carry back into the main game. Online co-op and invasions work as they do in the base game. Because it is late-game content, most players tackle it after reaching the final stretch of the main story. You need Dark Souls III on the same account to play it. A Dark Souls III: The Ringed City CD key is a cheap way to finish the trilogy's story, and fans who move on can look at Elden Ring, FromSoftware's open-world follow-up. See the official Steam page for details.
Steam (PC): In Steam, go to Games > Activate a Product on Steam and enter the DLC code. Dark Souls III must already be in your library.

Region check: The DLC key should match the region of your base game and account; read about region-locked game keys before buying.
Final Dark Souls Chapter: The last DLC for Dark Souls III and the closing chapter of the Dark Souls series.
New Areas: Cross the Dreg Heap, where fragments of past worlds pile up, and reach the Ringed City at the world's end.
Demanding Bosses: Face new bosses including Darkeater Midir and Slave Knight Gael, widely regarded among the toughest in the series.
New Gear and Magic: Find new weapons, armor, spells and items that carry over into your main playthrough.
New Enemies: Fight enemy types not seen in the base game, from Ringed City knights to the city's strange inhabitants.
Online Co-op and PvP: Summon allies or invade other worlds using the base game's online systems.
Requires Base Game: Dark Souls III is required to play, and the expansion is accessed from late-game areas.
