Developed by Passtech Games and published by Focus Entertainment, Curse of the Dead Gods is a dark, isometric roguelike dungeon crawler. The gameplay loop centers on risk-and-reward mechanics, requiring players to balance greed and corruption. As you go deeper into the labyrinth, you encounter deadly hazards like fire-spewing statues, hidden spikes, and supernatural bosses. The game relies on a blend of tactical combat and dynamic light-and-shadow mechanics where light is your best ally against lurking threats.
Skill-Based Combat: Engage in fast-paced melee, ranged, and two-handed combat, combining weapons and environmental elements to outsmart enemies.
Corruptive Curses: Every step you take builds up Corruption. You can either use or ignore curses, which function as a double-edged sword during your run.
Dynamic Lighting: Use fire and light to your advantage to navigate dark, cavernous passages safely.
Massive Arsenal: Wield dozens of different weapons, from heavy swords and spears to pistols and bows.
Godly Relics & Upgrades: Collect mystical relics to unlock powerful synergies and passive bonuses.
