Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is a 3D platformer developed by Toys for Bob and published by Activision. It first launched on October 2, 2020 for PS4 and Xbox One, then came to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2021.

The game is a direct sequel to the original trilogy. Neo Cortex and N. Tropy tear open the multiverse, and Crash and Coco must find four Quantum Masks to fix it. Levels mix running, jumping, spinning, and crate smashing, with tight timing and plenty of hidden gems to chase.

Each Quantum Mask adds a new trick: phasing objects in and out of reality, slowing time, flipping gravity, or spinning through dark matter. Extra playable characters, including Tawna, Dingodile, and Neo Cortex himself, bring their own levels and move sets.

You can pick Modern mode, which removes the life counter, or Retro mode with classic limited lives. N. Verted versions of levels flip the stage and add visual filters. Local multiplayer includes Pass N. Play, where up to four players take turns, and competitive Bandicoot Battle modes.

It suits platformer fans who enjoy a real challenge, collectors who like to hunt every gem, and anyone who grew up with the PlayStation-era Crash games. If you want the classics first, see Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy.
