Constance is a narrative-focused action-adventure Metroidvania built around paint-as-ability mechanics and tight platform combat, putting you in the shoes of Constance — an artist trapped inside a fragmenting mental landscape. Movement emphasises flow: dash, bounce, and glide through terrain while using your brush to slash enemies, alter surfaces, and solve environment puzzles; paint points power stronger techniques and recharge when grounded.
The game features six interconnected areas to explore, optional side quests, unlockable brush techniques, and secrets that expand Constance’s capabilities and backstory. Constance suits players who enjoy skill-based platforming, atmospheric storytelling, and polished indie art direction, and its accessibility options (assist toggles for damage and spike hazards) make it friendly for less-experienced players. Originally released on PC (Steam) in November 2025, it reached consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch) in 2026.
