Classified: France '44 is a turn-based tactics game developed by Absolutely Games and published by Team17. It released on March 5, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The campaign is set in the months before the Allied landings of June 1944. You command a special-operations team of Allied commandos and French resistance fighters behind enemy lines, sabotaging German targets to prepare the ground for D-Day.
Missions mix stealth and open combat. You can pick off key targets quietly to start a fight on your own terms, but each kill raises enemy suspicion. Once shooting starts, a morale system means every shot matters: suppress enemies until they break, then flank them while they cower. Between missions you recruit and equip operatives, raise team morale around the campfire, pick operations from competing resistance factions and manage the growing attention of the Gestapo. The campaign plays out differently across runs, and a Mission Creator lets players build and share custom missions.
A Classified: France '44 CD key fits fans of squad tactics like XCOM 2: War of the Chosen who want a grounded World War II setting. Full details are on the official Classified: France '44 website.
