Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator is a cooking and restaurant management game developed by French studio Cyanide Studio and published by Nacon. It released on February 23, 2023. You take over a small restaurant and try to grow it from a local spot into a fine-dining address recognized by the Michelin Guide, which is officially featured in the game.
The loop splits into two halves. Between services you plan the business: pick and customize kitchen equipment such as cooking surfaces, food processors and ovens, build a menu from French, Italian and international dishes, order ingredients from suppliers, manage staff and decor, and track your finances against expected customer numbers. During service you cook hands-on. You chop, grill, bake and mix each component, then plate the dish yourself while your team handles part of the workload. Recipes can be improved over time, and menus should shift with the seasons and with what customers expect. Extra recipe packs are sold as DLC on the Chef Life Steam store page.
It suits players who like detailed management sims such as House Flipper 2 but want a kitchen focus. A Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator CD key is often far cheaper from key sellers, so compare prices below.
