Chaos Reborn is a turn-based tactics game developed and published by Snapshot Games, the studio founded by X-COM creator Julian Gollop. It launched on October 26, 2015 for Windows, macOS, and Linux after a Kickstarter campaign, and reimagines Gollop's 1985 game Chaos.

Each match pits wizards against each other on a hex-based board. You draw a random hand of spells, summon creatures, and cast magic to defeat rival wizards. Positioning matters like in chess, while luck and probability shape each cast.

The signature twist is bluffing. Many creatures can be cast as illusions that always succeed, but opponents can disbelieve them to make them vanish. Deciding when to bluff and when to call a bluff gives matches a poker-like tension.

Single-player Realm adventures let you explore maps, fight battles, and collect gear to customize your wizard. Online play includes ranked leagues, friendly matches, and co-op. Cross-platform multiplayer is supported between PC, Mac, and Linux.

Spells include summoned creatures such as dragons and undead, attack magic, and spells that shift the balance between Law and Chaos, which changes the odds of later casts. Matches are short and readable, so the depth comes from reading your opponent rather than learning long rule lists. Each turn you choose carefully, because a failed cast or an exposed illusion can leave your wizard open to attack.

It suits fans of tactical board-game style strategy, classic Gollop games, and short, clever matches.
