Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is a multiplayer-centric entry that redefined the Black Ops universe by focusing entirely on online engagement. It famously replaced the traditional single-player campaign with Blackout, a massive battle royale featuring iconic characters and locations from across the entire sub-franchise. Built with tactical team play in mind, it introduces manual healing, predictive recoil, and a deep Specialist system that rewards strategy and cooperation over pure reflexes.
Blackout Battle Royale: Drop into the largest map in Call of Duty history, featuring land, sea, and air vehicles and locations inspired by Nuketown, Firing Range, and more.
Specialist Combat: Choose from unique soldiers like Crash, Recon, and Seraph, each equipped with game-changing tactical equipment and special abilities.
Expanded Zombies: Dive into three distinct undead adventures at launch—IX, Voyage of Despair, and Blood of the Dead—featuring deep customization and "Custom Mutations."
Tactical Gunplay: Master the new manual healing system and predictive recoil patterns for a more controlled and competitive shooting experience.
