Bricks Over Blocks is an arcade action game developed and published by indie studio WalterNet Games. It entered Steam Early Access for Windows PC on November 22, 2024, and is still being built out with new content during that phase.

The core loop takes the familiar brick breaker formula and moves it into 3D. You keep the ball in play, smash through rows of bricks, and protect your own blocks from falling hazards. Each cleared stage unlocks the next, and the difficulty rises steadily as layouts become more crowded.

What sets it apart from flat, classic clones is the mix of 3D obstacles and light platforming. Levels add moving hazards, rising lava, hidden bonuses, and power-ups that change how the ball behaves, so you need to watch both the bricks and the space around you.

The game is single-player only, with no online or local multiplayer modes. Sessions are short, which makes it easy to play a few stages at a time or replay levels to chase a better score.

Bricks Over Blocks suits players who enjoy Arkanoid-style arcade games, quick reflex challenges, and small indie projects that are still growing. Because it is in Early Access, expect updates, balance changes, and possible bugs before a full release.
