Brawlout is a platform fighting game developed and published by Angry Mob Games. It is available on PC through Steam and was also released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Matches follow the platform fighter formula: you knock opponents off the stage instead of draining a health bar. Brawlout also borrows ideas from traditional fighting games, including a Rage Meter that fills as you deal and take damage.

The Rage Meter can be spent on a Rage Burst to break an opponent's combo and create space, or saved to trigger Rage Mode, which increases the knockback you deal and reduces what you take. Familiar movement such as wavedashing and air dodging is supported.

The roster mixes original fighters with guest characters from indie games such as Dead Cells, Yooka-Laylee, Guacamelee, and Hyper Light Drifter. Original characters have alternate Variants with different stats, outfits, and moves, bringing the cast to 25 individual fighters.

You can play locally on one shared screen, online in ranked matches, or alone against AI opponents. Each fighter fits a familiar archetype, from grapplers to rushdown characters, so it is easy to find a style that suits you.

The developer designed Brawlout to balance competitive play with the genre's party game roots, so it caters to veterans, casual fans, and newcomers alike. A controller is recommended for precise inputs, and quick matches make it a good fit for short sessions with friends.
