Developed by 91Act under license from Arc System Works, Entropy Effect places you in a futuristic world where you enter a virtual simulation to save reality. You control "Prototypes"—digital avatars of fan-favorite BlazBlue characters like Ragna, Noel, and Hakumen. The gameplay loop focuses on high-speed combat and procedural progression. After every room, you choose upgrades that mutate your character's abilities, leading to broken and spectacular combo builds. The 2026 X Update completely revised the narrative to better align with the original series' writers and introduced the Extreme Difficulty mode, pushing even the most seasoned action fans to their limits.
Massive Character Roster: Choose from 16+ distinct Prototypes, including the newest 2026 addition, Naoto Kurogane, each retaining their signature fighting mechanics (like Ragna's life-steal).
The "Potential" System: Customize your moveset mid-run. Unlock new aerial follows, ground slams, and special cancels that fundamentally change how your character plays.
Crossover Content: Includes unique stages and mechanics inspired by Dead Cells and ICEY, offering a diverse break from the standard cybernetic environments.
Entropy Modifiers: Similar to the "Heat" system in Hades, customize your challenge by adding enemy buffs or time limits in exchange for better meta-progression rewards.
Multilingual Support: Fully playable in several languages, including English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, with high-quality voice acting for the roster.
