Developed by Harebrained Schemes (the creators of Shadowrun Returns) and published by Paradox Interactive, BATTLETECH brings the classic tabletop experience to PC. The game is set in the year 3025, where noble houses battle for control of the Inner Sphere using giant, mechanized war machines. As a mercenary commander, you are responsible for everything: negotiating contracts with high-stakes factions, repairing and customizing your 'Mechs in the MechLab, and executing deep tactical maneuvers on the battlefield. The game features a rich, story-driven campaign alongside an open-ended mercenary simulation.
Tactical Turn-Based Combat: Deploy a "Lance" of four 'Mechs and use positioning, terrain, and weapon synergies to outmaneuver your foes.
Mercenary Management: Recruit and develop unique MechWarriors with distinct skill trees while managing the financial costs of your dropship and crew.
Extensive 'Mech Customization: Use the MechLab to swap out autocannons, lasers, and missile racks, or adjust armor and heat sinks to suit your tactical needs.
Deep Narrative Campaign: Immerse yourself in a tale of political intrigue and revenge as you support a violently deposed ruler.
PVP & Skirmish Modes: Test your strategies in online multiplayer against friends or refine your skills against AI in standalone skirmish missions.
