Barbie Horse Trails is an open-world adventure game developed by PHL Collective and published by Outright Games in partnership with Mattel. It released on October 10, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, and it is aimed mainly at younger players and families.

You play as Barbie 'Brooklyn' Roberts or Barbie 'Malibu' Roberts and ride your horse, Lucky, around Canterbury Trails Park. Working with Ken's aunt, Lady Carson, and the Park Rangers, you help give the park a fresh look so everyone can enjoy it.

Riding is the heart of the game. You can walk, trot or gallop through wildflower fields, forests, mountains and lakeside paths. Between rides, you bond with Lucky by grooming, cleaning and feeding her, then style her with bridles, saddles, braids and ribbons.

As a Junior Ranger in training, you learn about the park from Head Ranger Annalise, visit the Wildlife Centre and join an archaeologist on digs to find a mystery horse. A camera lets you photograph animals and plants for your journal, and chests hide collectibles that unlock new looks for Barbie.

Side missions with friends such as Ken, Teresa, Nikki and Daisy add variety. The game has a relaxed pace without combat, making it a good fit for children, horse fans and families looking for a calm exploration game. Full controller support is available on PC, and a gamepad is recommended.
