Asterix & Obelix: Heroes is a turn-based card battle game with light RPG progression, published by Nacon and released on October 5, 2023. It is available on PC through Steam as well as on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

You collect cards representing famous characters from the Asterix comics, build a deck around their abilities, and send your team into tactical turn-based fights against Roman troops. Winning battles earns new cards and upgrades, and each fight asks you to manage a limited hand, choose targets carefully and decide when to use stronger abilities.

The game features 24 playable heroes, each with unique traits, so deck building is about finding combinations that work together. Choosing which heroes to upgrade and which cards to bring matters more as fights get harder.

It is a single-player adventure. You travel across a map of locations inspired by the comic albums, taking on challenges and events while trying to foil Caesar's plans. The art style follows the look of the original books, and familiar heroes from the comic series appear throughout the journey. Full controller support makes it comfortable to play from the couch.

It suits fans of the Asterix comics, families, and players who want an approachable deck-builder that does not demand hours of theorycrafting.
