Asterix & Obelix: Mission Babylon is an action platformer developed by Balio Studio and published by Microids. It was released in October 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, and the PC version activates on Steam.

The game follows the famous Gauls on a brand-new story that takes them far from their village toward Babylon. Levels combine platforming, exploration and short puzzles with frequent fights against Roman soldiers and other enemies.

You switch between Asterix and Obelix, each with his own strengths, and use the classic magic potion and Obelix's raw power to clear the way. The tone stays close to the comics, with humor, slapstick brawls and familiar characters.

The adventure can be played alone or in two-player local co-op on one screen, and Steam Remote Play Together lets a friend join online. Voice acting is available in English, French and German.

Levels move between action-heavy stretches and quieter sections built around exploration and simple puzzles, which keeps the pace varied. The game supports Spanish and Italian text as well as its voiced languages. On PC, Steam achievements and Steam Cloud saves are supported, and Asterix fans will recognize many characters and running jokes from the long-running comic series by Goscinny and Uderzo.

It suits families, younger players and fans of the comics who want a light, funny platformer to enjoy together.
