Asterigos: Curse of the Stars is a third-person action RPG developed by Acme Gamestudio and published by tinyBuild. It was released on October 11, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

You play as Hilda, a young warrior of the Northwind Legion who travels to the cursed city of Aphes to find her lost father. The city draws on classical Greek and ancient Roman design, from bazaar streets and sewers to forests and crystal-filled chasms on its outskirts.

Combat borrows ideas from soulslike games, such as stamina management and checkpoint-based progress, but keeps a faster, lighter feel. Hilda equips two weapon types at once and can switch between them mid-combo to build flexible attack combinations against different enemies.

The world uses interconnected maps with shortcuts and hidden paths. More than 60 enemy types and 22 bosses appear across the main story and side quests, and choices you make affect how the story of Aphes ends. New Game+ and a boss rush mode called Gauntlet of the Stars add replay value.

Asterigos is a single-player game that suits players who want an approachable soulslike with a bright art style and a story-driven campaign. A full playthrough with side quests offers a solid amount of content, and the Call of the Paragons expansion continues the adventure for those who want more.
