As of May 2026, Assetto Corsa Rally is in active Early Access (currently version 0.4). Built on a customized Unreal Engine 5 platform, the game focuses on uncompromising authenticity. Every stage is recreated using 3D laser scanning to capture exact road geometry and surface textures. The game introduces a groundbreaking Dynamic Snow System, where snowfall is simulated as a live atmospheric event based on altitude, time of day, and temperature, rather than a static preset. This creates unpredictable conditions where a stage might start on dry asphalt and end in a blizzard.
Laser-Scanned Stages: Includes legendary locations like the Col de Turini (Monte-Carlo) and fast, deceptive stages in Sisteron, as well as regions in Alsace and Wales.
Dynamic Weather & Surfaces: Features real-time transitions between dry, melting, and fully snow-covered surfaces. Grip levels react dynamically to cold tarmac and loose gravel.
Diverse Car Roster: Over 15 officially licensed cars spanning the 1960s to 2025, including:
Icons: Lancia Stratos Gr.4, Lancia 037 Evo 2, Audi Sport Quattro.
90s Legends: Subaru Impreza S3 Group A, Peugeot 306 Maxi II.
Modern Spec: Hyundai i20N Rally2, Škoda Fabia RS Rally2.
Authentic Soundscape: Every engine, tire crunch on gravel, and turbo whine was recorded from real rally machines.
Professional Pacenotes: Co-driver notes developed in collaboration with pro co-drivers for high-stakes navigation accuracy.
Advanced Peripheral Support: Native support for Fanatec FullForce and Logitech TrueForce for detailed haptic feedback.
