Anno 117: Pax Romana blends the franchise's deep production-chain management with a new focus on cultural identity. For the first time, players can choose their starting path: will you enforce Romanization, spreading togas and temples across the land, or respect the Celtic traditions of the north to create a hybrid society? The game introduces a "Governor’s Path" narrative campaign alongside the classic Endless Mode, featuring a new Discovery Tree for research and a Modular Ship system for fine-tuning your trade and naval power. Whether you lead through diplomacy or military strength, the fate of the empire is in your hands.
Dual-Province Governance: Balance the needs of the Mediterranean Latium and the rugged Albion, each with unique resources and challenges.
Cultural Choices: Decide the social fabric of your empire—will you unify cultures or rule with an iron Roman fist?
Modular Ships: Customize your fleet with specific modules to prioritize cargo capacity, speed, or naval defense.
Discovery Tree: A revamped research system that allows you to unlock technologies and worship specific deities for powerful economic buffs.
Ground & Naval Combat: Defend your provinces from rebels and rival governors with refined tactical land battles and deep-sea engagement.
