A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a single-player horror adventure developed by Italian studio Stormind Games and published by Saber Interactive. It launched on October 17, 2024, and tells an original story inspired by the A Quiet Place film series. You play as a young woman trying to survive a post-apocalyptic world overrun by creatures that hunt using sound alone, while she deals with family conflict and her own fears.
The core loop is about noise. Every step, dropped object and opened door can draw a creature, so you read the environment, pick quiet surfaces, use tools found along the way and plan routes before you move. The game centers on avoiding the creatures rather than fighting them; survival depends on patience, observation and staying out of earshot. An optional Microphone Noise Detection setting goes further: with a headset or microphone connected, the creatures react to sounds you make in the real room.
The A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead CD key fits players who prefer slow, tense stealth horror over action, and fans of the films who want a new survivor story in that world. Before you pick a seller, our guide to buying cheap game keys safely explains what to check. Full system details are on the official Steam store page.
Sound-Based Survival: Creatures hunt only by sound, so every movement and interaction carries risk. Staying silent is the main way to stay alive.
Optional Microphone Detection: Turn on Microphone Noise Detection and the creatures react to real sounds picked up by your headset or microphone.
Original Story: An exclusive spin-off narrative follows a young survivor through the apocalypse while she faces family conflict and her own inner fears.
Environmental Problem-Solving: Observe your surroundings and use tools you find to open new paths and avoid danger.
Stealth Over Combat: Encounters are built around hiding, sneaking and distraction rather than fighting, which keeps the focus on timing and route planning.
Film-Inspired Setting: A quiet, post-apocalyptic landscape draws directly on the look and rules of the A Quiet Place movies.
Broad Language Support: Full English audio, with text support for French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Chinese.
